Hello Batchmates,

Sujiva just gave me the shocking news that Daya Rodrigo had passed away suddenly last night.

I understand he had had a bypass some years ago and was apparently fit.

I rang up Daya's telephone number in Colombo. A person who identified himself as Daya's Nephew confirmed the news. He told me that Daya was admitted to Asiri Hospital earlier, was admitted to the Intensive care unit there, and got a cardiac arrest there.

Thanks Karals for sharing the sad news of the death of Daya another very sincere and a  helpful colleague.
