Hi Philip,
Trust you
and your family are safe and well. We are all saddened to see the stupidity,
selfishness and extremism with intolerance, incompetence etc have reached the
Zenith.. Our thoughts went back to the day we visited you and went to
Ratnapura. I recall you noting the new found wealth.
There seems
to be no peace for ordinary people there.

Nadana
Nadana,
This
was a tragedy which we will overcome. The tears will dry up and we will
learn to love again and overcome hatred. At the moment the water is
muddied and we cannot see the beauty in the depths of the beautiful
pool. But we will wait for silence and serenity to creep back into our
lives. I have attached the web-link of one of my favourite songs and the lyrics of the song. Hope you and your better half appreciate its melody and the words. Wishing you all the best,
Philip

the Rainbow

Ooh,
ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Somewhere
over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
Once in a lullaby
Way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere
over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dream of
Dreams really do come true
Bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dream of
Dreams really do come true
Someday,
I wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top
That's where you'll find me
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere
over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dare to
Oh why, oh why can't I?
Bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dare to
Oh why, oh why can't I?
Well,
I see trees of green and red roses too
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Well,
I see skies of blue and I see clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
And the brightness of day
I like the dark
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
The
colors…

Thank you,
Philip for your deeply poetic tenderness during this period of anguish, pain
and distress. Do not standby and weep, for faith, hope and love always wins.
Love,
Victor.

Phillipo,
your response :marvellous, mature, making perpetrators midgets. Loved the
song and reminded me of Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World. Inspired me too to
rise above the stench of new found wealth. Tx Karals
