I would like to do a presentation on "A Busy Retirement 5 decades  of Clinical practice"

I do this each year at the Royal College to inspire & enthuse young Psychiatrists to keep vibrant & active for 5 decades or more. The  emphasis is on combining your personal & professional life & continuing to serve humanity as long as you remain fit for purpose.

Always goes down well as I reach out to women & help them see that it is possible to combine an active & fulfilling professional life with being wife,mother, grand mother & great grand mother!!

Great that Sydney is going to speak. you may recall that both at the 45th & 50th meetings I spoke on topics of interest to me which I thought would be "updates of sorts'. If you run short of speakers I have a topic which is currently the rage in the G.I.field but would like to suggest a "racy" title - Probiotics and "S..t capsules" the treatment in the next decade!

As you are the local experts, we would be very happy to leave the organisation of the ‘academic session’ in your capable hands.

Glad to hear from you. I am out of presentations these days......sad to say.So we will just relax and enjoy the company. Work is now part time from 

930am to about 3pm and I am back home. 

My 4 younger colleagues are up to the latest stuff like Petct .I am back to basics.So lectures are out.

I discussed  with  Jayalath  this  morning  ,&    we  jointly  decided  to  adopt  the  following strategy to  get sponsorships  from  Drug  Companies.

1. Use  the good offices  of  our  batchmates  who  are in  active practice  to  entice   Pharmaceutical  Giants   for

a.  Platinum  Sponsorship   @  Rs 100.000,00

                         offer  them    10 minuites  presentation

                          Banner   6ft x 3 ft

                          Table  to  display  their  products  6ft x3ft

b.   Gold  Sponsorship   @   Rs  50,000.00

                           Banner  6 ft x 3  ft

                          Table   4 ft x 3  ft   to  display  their  products
