Dear Guys,

Please have a look at this letter. The letter is addressed the Chairman of NMK which manufactures Marina coconut products but the sponsorship part would apply to all those will to chip in with donations. another alternative is to acknowledge sponsor giving 5 or 10 thousand with 1/2 or full page in the "song book" or souvenir to be published. For which a "dummy" will be needed.

Good  start.

I feel  silver  sponsorship  should be  at  least  Rs 25000.00.  allowing  only  a  banner for  display.

The presentation for  Platinum  sponsor  be  cut  down to  10  minuites.

Rs  15000.00 is  charcoal.  Not  worth considering.

History of Medicine in Sri Lanka 1948 to 2018

The original excellent book was written by Dr. Uragoda, a distinguished Chest Physician, and a very prolific writer of Sri Lanka, to cover the History of Medicine in Sri Lanka, up  to 1948.

This  project started in the fertile mind of Dr. Lakshman Karalliedde, and was intended to cover the period 1948 to 2018.. He did about 80 percent of the ground-work to produce this invaluable book. It was handed over to the Sri Lanka Medical Association for additional inputs and financing by the WHO.

It is an excellent reference to study the advances made up to the year 2018.

My comments:

1.  The general message ( re the need to book early < 30th April ) needs to be emphasised.

2. The booking link you have given opens to 2 choices;( between 6.7.18 to 8.7.18)

a. Doctors Dinner Dance  @ Rs 17,000.00 per/night ( 1/2 board)

Or

b.  Deluxe  @ Rs.17,000.00/night.

It does not give any other choices ( double or treble).

We  are  happy  to announce  that  the  Batch Re Union  , will  take  place  on the  7^th  July 2018 , as scheduled.

Due  to  unforeseen  circumstances , we  had  to  change  the   Venue  to  JET WING LAGOON , NEGOMBO.       Sorry   !

Following  is a description of  the  methods  available  for  you  to reserve  Hotel Rooms  and  making  payments  for  same.

Cancellation Policy of  the  Hotel

Before 14 days from date of arrival - 100% of the value of the booking will be charged by the hotel
      Before 21 days from date of arrival - 50% of the value of the booking  will be charged by the hotel and balance 50% will be refunded to the customer.
      Before 28 days from date of arrival - 25% of the value of the booking  will be charged by the hotel and balance 75% will be refunded to the customer.
