Dear Friends,
The
planning of the "Conference" sessions may depend not only on the number
of speakers form our side but also on whether or not there are
Platinum sponsors. One possibility is to have a short 1 hour session
after lunch as well say 2.15 to 3.15 pm.

WediI am copying this note to all Group Leaders. It may change . Nothing is permanent. !These are the thoughts that go through my head right now.Asoka Dissanayaka will make the opening address welcoming the participants.Philip will also have to make a short presentation on Departed friends , after which we observe a minuits silence.Nana is there ! I will have to ask him to do some topic of his choice. (No Peadiatrics)We will give 15 minuites to Pearl or Sydney to talk on a subject they will choose. We cannot accomodate both due to time constraintsPhilip will talk on our life in the College.Nihal Thenabadu has agreed to talk on some subject in Cardiology.I doubt that there will be time for that.Your suggestion to another session in the evening will be discussed with others in the Committee.Thank you .Will decide on who will conduct the sessions later.
In case there are Platinum Sponsors they will have to be given 10 minits each for their presentations on their products. The Secretary will close the sessions after thanking all.On Sat, Mar 17, 2018 at 8:35 PM, Udula Pathirana <pathidus@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:Dear Wedi,Many thanks for the e,mail. You are doing all the hard work. Why don't you preside the session as well? I am happy to do it if you think you will be busy with other arrangements on the day. I think the session should run from 11.15 to 12.45 ( about 4 speakers) followed by lunch. Are we having some entertainment in the evening as well as before? If so Asoka may be able to talk about Sarath Kapuwatta then and Asoka will have time to talk about his other interest in the morning. Also should we not give any one else wanting to talk about any other departed friends the chance to do so? A slide presentation/ photographic could be included for the evening session.I really would like if a GP or a cardiologist could give a short talk on " Living with cardiac diseases" or a Geriatrician or GP on age related issues.Kind regards,UdulaOn Saturday, 17 March 2018, 05:22:25 GMT, Manasara Wedisinghe <2018reunionmedbatch1960@gmail.com> wrote: We will help you to find speakers.
