Publications.
Lakshman has been rather busy, in his later years – publishing. His latest attempt is the following.
My daughter Queenie, who is a Consultant Anaesthetist, at the Base Hospital, Avissawella, Sri Lanka says that there was an urgent need, for a ready reference book of this nature, in the Primary care and Intensive care units. This was because of the present habit of doctors, prescribing a plethora of drugs, especially for the elderly. I endorse this view.
While on the subject of Dr. Lakshman Karalliedde, I would like to highlight some of his publications, as seen on the web-links below.
Pesticide poisoning in the developing world—a minimum pesticides list - The Lancet -http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140673602112049/abstract
