               Primary FRCS in 1970

               

               Resigned from Health Dept in Sep !971 & left for USA.

               !971 Oct -1974 Oct  Orthopedic Residency in Brooklyn NY-  Maimonides/Coney Island program.

               !974 Oct  Joined Orthopedic Group practice in Toms River New Jersey---  Ocean Orthopedic Associates.
               1977 Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
                !978 Fellow American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons & American College of Surgeons

               Retired Dec 2003 from practice.Have held positions of chief of orthopedics at hospitals in Toms River & Lakewood & served on Board of Trustees at these hospitals during this time .

               

               Now living in Florida 

  

               Married 36 years - still going strong!!      to Premanila.

               we have 2 sons -1 Amrit  married to Nidhi, both doctors  -blessed with 1st child 2 mts ago & our 1st grandchild Anika.

                                       

                                       2  Arun - college graduate now in 1st year at law school in Miami.

 

           hobbies --travel,golf,gardening & now baby sitting!!

Dear Philip,

                       It is good to hear from you. I saw  my info in the blog posted for me. It was perhaps 2007 when it was put in.

              Our g-daughters are now 12 & 11yrs of age & our younger son & wife have blessed us with a grandson who is just 4 months old.

                   We are still in Venice, Florida  & moving & processing stuff considerably slower!

                  Could not attend last reunion  but try to keep in touch with some batch mates.

                  Recently attended a celebration of life event near NY city for Viji Sivaprakasapillai (Ponnambalam). Met Ramachandran from our batch there, among others. He retired recently & hopes to move to Florida .

                   Hope we get a chance to meet at another reunion before time runs out.
